| I would go with browns, for your makeup - neutral colors, but darker neutrals, with metallic or sort of glittery tones. Go for the smoky eye look, just not so smoky it's gothic, and go easy on the lips with some lip liner that's a couple of shades darker than the natural color of your lips; blend that in with some clear, shiny gloss. That'll make your lips noticeable but they won't overpower the eyes - and I definitely think you should play up the eyes. As for your hair, I would go with either a big curling iron or some big hot rollers, and curl it, making sure you get BIG curls and not those tight springy ones, then once you've curled it, comb it out a bit so you get waves that curl a little near the ends (think Bella in New Moon or Twilight, only a little fancier). Spray it with hairspray. You can leave it loose or tie it back. Good luck! |

| FOUNDATION EXPERTS - PLEASE HELP! "BEYONCE-FINISH" FOUNDATION WANTED.? (The description is a little long, but please read through because I've added a lot of detail and am being very specific with what I need) I'm 18 and I have been using MAC studio fix fluid (NC40) & studio fix powder (NC43) for around 2 years now. I don't like in anymore, I just can't seem to find what is better to match what I'm looking for! Ok so I find the MAC to be a bit too thick, fake looking, and a little TOO matte/powdery. I like my face to look natural, glowy, but still smooth, very even, flawless and great coverage. (Not similar to how I look with no makeup, otherwise there's no point buying) The celebrity I've seen mainly with this type of look is Beyonce. The result of her with no makeup compared to with makeup is exactly what I'm looking for. She has a paler face with some un-even tones but when she has her foundation on it looks so natural but also evens out & tans her facial skin to match her body perfectly, looking flawless with a nice glowy airbrush finish & not looking piled on. (It looks like it's her skin!) I'm not exactly "black" or "white" if you know what I mean, I'm eastern european and am quite tanned like Italian, although I always protect my face from the sun so it's much lighter than my body which I hate..! So when I get foundation I need it to still have good colour & coverage to match my neck & rest of my skin perfectly. I never get pimples or anything either, unless its the occasional 1 or 2 when its that time of month. My skin isn't oily nor dry, it's normal/smooth. Sometimes foundation looks either too pink or too orange compared to the rest of me, So im looking for a nice olive-brown based foundation. One thats not shiny, not too powdery and fake, and looks very smooth, even, effective, glowy, natural, air brush finish. It can be either high-end or drug store (just not TOO much like for photoshoot because thats ridiculous to buy for an everyday makeup if it costs like $500 o_O) One more thing, I live in queensland, Australia. | Married Guys, have you ever been succesful explaining your photography? My wife found the photos I was keeping for blackma.......er, the next art show. I told her they were going to a local gallery after they are mounted but she's not buying it. She threw them out when I wasn't home. Since they were for art purposes I got rid of the negatives to maintain exclusivity and now all that work is trashed. She should have know they were art because they were 8x10 black and white glossies. I don't have the stuff to do color in the basement and I can't use the local processor since I caught him posting some shots on the net. | You aren't supposed to get rid of the negatives (errr... art starters), you are supposed to keep them in a lock box at the bank, and make several copies you leave in different locations. Then you make the person pay for your silence (err.. art) several times. And they can't come after you (err... destroy your art career) because the negatives will be sent to the media if you pass away. :) |
